Many Newer Vehicle kits utilize OEM, Original Equipment MFG, (GM, Ford, etc) Parts 
Those OEM parts increase frequently too. 
Most kits are made on short runs with ON-Time delivery parts.
These kits, though designed for a certain make and model, do fit a variety of years and engines. 
Some minor modifications, adjustments etc might be required to install the system.

ALL Kits are 100% Complete Kits I do not know of any other way to describe that the AC kits HAVE EVERYTHING REQUIRED to put a Complete Factory Look, and Fit AC in your NON-AC Vehicle. If the kit says Factory ( GM, Ford etc parts) It is the factory parts.
Many Newer Vehicles use mostly all Factory Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Parts, Controls etc.
The Older vehicles (60's-80's) may be a complete stand alone but IN DASH system. Read the description of the AC kit of the vehicle for more details.
